Description

Professional adhesive based on cement, fillers and appropriate additives. It is intended for gluing, smoothing?and reinforcing thermal insulating panels made of expanded polystyrene and mineral wool on facades.

SURFACE PREPARATION AND GLUE

The surface which is coated with glue must be flat, firm and free from dust or grease stains from formwork?oil. Glue is prepared so that 26% of weight by water is added to the dry mixture (or one part water is added?to 3-4 parts of dry mixture) and is mixed thoroughly using a propeller stirrer until complete homogenized.?The mixture is left to stand for 5 minutes, then stirred again before installation.

APPLICATION

The adhesive is applied with a notched trowel or a joint knife along the edge of thermal insulation panels with a width of 5 cm, on the middle of the panel another three dotted adhesive coatings cca. 10-diameter 15 cm are applied. The contact area between the panel and the surface should be about 50% of the panel. The drying time of glue under normal conditions (air temperature and surface from +5?C to +35?C, relative humidity 40-50%) is at least 2-3 days, then allowed to anchor. After anchoring a notched trowel is used to apply adhesive to a thickness of 2-3 mm on the thermal insulation panels. Fiberglass mesh is injected into the fresh adhesive with 10 cm overlaps and the surface it left for 24 hours, after which another layer of glue is applied to get a very rough surface without grooves and other irregularities. The glue is left it dry completely. After that, apply the FINALGRUND UNI basecoat undercoat and after 24 hours a thin layer of facade plaster or dispersive paint. The operating temperature during incorporation of the adhesives should not be lower than +5?C.
