FIXACRYL

Description

Acrylic resin-based primer with a low content of volatile substances, which is used before the application of cement-based tile adhesives.

WHERE TO USE

• Applied as a primer on many substrates, such as old tiles, smooth surfaces, natural stones, cemented floor surfaces;
• For the treatment of gypsum surfaces before installation of ceramic tiles;
• On gypsum walls as a fixative before laying wallpaper.

FEATURES

• Prevents any chemical reaction between sulfates and aluminates on the surface of gypsum or cement, which in the presence of moisture, leads to the formation of salt which is the cause of separation of the two elements;
• Prevents rapid absorption of water from the substrate, prolongs working time and helps prevent shrinkage cracks;
• When used, before applying self-leveling compounds, reduces the formation of air bubbles and helps prevent rapid drying by making self-leveling easier;
• FIXACRYL is non-flammable and therefore can be used in indoor environments, without taking any precautions.
