ULTRA LAZURIT – Thin-Layer Stain for Wood
ULTRA LAZURIT is a transparent, matt protective stain for interior and exterior wood, built on a high-quality alkyd binder. It shields wood from weather and atmospheric wear while giving it the rich colouring of an exotic wood species, all while letting the natural wood grain and structure show through.
It’s a versatile choice for construction joinery of all kinds: doors, shutters, facades, attics, balcony railings, and wall or ceiling panelling.
Key features:
- 14 shades available: white, colourless, fir, beech, oak, pine, larch, mahogany, teak, green, olive, chestnut, rosewood, and ebony (colours can be intermixed to fine-tune the shade)
- Transparent, matt finish
- No thinning needed; use synthetic thinner for tool cleanup only
- Covers 10 to 12 m² per liter in one layer
- Touch dry in 6 to 8 hours, fully dry in 16 hours (20°C, 65% relative humidity)
- Apply by brush, roller, or sponge
- 5-year shelf life unopened (2 years for white 01)
Important: ULTRA LAZURIT contains no fungicides or insecticides, so for exterior work it must always go over a first coat of ULTRA LAZURIT BASE or ULTRA IMPREGNA. Colourless ULTRA LAZURIT should never be used alone outdoors, as it needs that protective base coat underneath.
Aplikimi: Apply to well-dried wood (max. 12% moisture) 12 to 24 hours after the base coat, in 1 to 3 coatings depending on the depth of colour and weather exposure desired. Recommended dry film thickness is 30 μm per coat. Recoat within 12 to 24 hours; if more than 1 to 2 weeks pass, lightly sand before applying the next layer.
Ideal for: Decorative colour-matched finishing of interior and exterior wood joinery, doors, railings, panelling, and facades, as part of the full ULTRA LAZURIT protection system.
